Our Values
Respect Responsibility Integrity Empathy
are integral to the life of our whole school community and underpin the rights and responsibilities of students, staff and families. They promote positive attitudes, behaviours and relationships.
Our school values are displayed in every classroom and throughout all areas of the school and are constantly referred to in all aspects of our school life here at RPS.
Our school-wide ‘Building our Learning Community’ program at the start of the year focuses on introducing the values and related concepts to all children from Foundation to Year 6.

Our school provides an educational environment that ensures all students are valued and cared for, engaged effectively in their learning and can experience success.
At the whole school level Rutherglen Primary School expects and promotes our four school values within our school community: RESPECT, RESPONSIBLITY, INTEGRITY and EMPATHY.
