Out of School Hours Care

Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is available every day of the school week from 7:00am – 9:00am and 2:30pm – 6:00pm

OSHC also operates on pupil free days and during school holidays.

OSHC is provided at Rutherglen Primary School by Indigo North Health and is located in the cooking centre and OSHC building at the High Street end of the school grounds.

OSHC focuses on the provision of stimulating developmental, social and recreational activities for children, while meeting the care requirements of families. The Indigo North Health Inc. Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service aims to provide high quality care and education programs that recognise the importance of understanding child development in school aged children. OSHC values care and education achieved through interactive play. The OSHC service will provide a creative, safe, secure and interactive environment that enhances child development in all aspects that the service provides (Before & After School Care & Vacation Care).

The Indigo Health North OSHC service values it’s relationships within the community by supporting children, schools, parents, caregivers and guardians in assisting community and family members to continue and maintain reliable work employment, volunteering and personal development training.
